Alvaro Quesada, APCC

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC4243)

I have always been driven by a desire to help others, and I have found that clinical mental health counseling allows me to make a positive impact on people’s lives. As a therapist, I have a unique opportunity to work closely with individuals and their families to address their challenges and concerns.

I find it incredibly fulfilling to support individuals as they navigate their mental health journey and work towards achieving their goals. My approach to mental health care is grounded in compassion and empathy, and I strive to create a safe supportive environment where my clients can feel heard, validated and respected.

I firmly believe that mental health is a vital component of overall well-being. I work with clients to identify their unique strengths and challenges, and together we develop strategies to address their concerns and improve their quality of life.

In addition to my clinical work, I am committed to promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma. If you are seeking a caring, compassionate mental health professional who will work with you to achieve your goals, I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

I am fluent in Spanish as it is my first language, having been born and raised in Costa Rica. As a result of my background, I am familiar with the challenges that immigrants face when adjusting to a new country, and I am here to provide any assistance I can.
